Dear club members, exhibitors, breeders, and visitors,

This year, our club is celebrating its 35th anniversary – a perfect reason for a special club show: We warmly invite you to our first-ever stud dog show, our "35 Years" Club Show, and a Specialty Show. 

Our anniversary club show weekend will once again take place in Marl, just like last year, on the grounds of DVG MV Marl-Sickingmühle e.V

Important: Only dogs with a valid rabies vaccination are allowed on the premises! Guest dogs must carry their vaccination certificate, which must be presented upon request!

This year, we are planning to host a Stud Dog Presentation for the first time – aimed at interested breeders and Ridgeback owners. It's a great opportunity for stud dog owners because...

• Each dog will be presented individually in the ring, allowing him to show his movement without having to adjust his pace to other dogs.
• Each dog will also have time to calmly present himself in a stand.
• Even stud dogs and owners with little or no show experience, and those who are not interested in “regular” dog shows, will have the chance to present their dogs. This way, breeders can get to know stud dogs that are otherwise not shown.
• A change of handler during the presentation is allowed – for example, the owner can stack the dog while someone else handles the movement part.
• A video, as well as head and stand photos, will be taken of each dog at no additional cost.
  - The raw video will be uploaded online immediately. Later, a presentation video will be created for each dog using the video footage, photos, pedigree, and other breeding-relevant information. This video will be published on the Club E.L.S.A. Instagram and Facebook pages. From there, it can be viewed and shared – an exciting feature for anyone interested in the stud dog.
  - Of course, the video can also be sent directly to the stud dog owner – please contact the show organizers after the event.
• Each stud dog will be featured with a double-page spread in the Stud Dog Catalogue. One page will include the pedigree, breeding-relevant data, and other information such as litters, titles, etc., while the second page is reserved for a photo or photo collage of the dog. (We will be contacting stud dog owners regarding the required data.)
• With the entry fee, each stud dog owner will automatically receive one copy of the catalogue.
• Additional catalogues for interested breeders will be available, but only in limited numbers – if you would like to get a catalogue, please email the show organizers no later than two weeks before the Stud Dog Show (a fee will apply).

Schedule:

• Individual presentation in the first ring from 6:00 p.m.:
  Each stud dog will be presented both standing and in motion. During this time, breeding-relevant information (such as parentage, x-rays, test results), as well as titles and special achievements, will be read aloud, and the video recording will take place.
• Photos and meet & greet in the second ring:
  After the individual presentation, each dog will move to the second ring. There, several stand and head photos will be taken, and interested parties (e.g. breeders) will have the chance to make first contacts and get to know the dog in person.
• Estimated end: Around 8:00 p.m., depending on the number of entries.

Stud Dog Show – Daily Schedule for Friday, June 6th:

• From approx. 4:30 p.m.:
  Entry of dogs, registration, and vaccination certificate check
• Approx. 5:30 p.m.:
  Brief introduction to the procedure of the stud dog presentation
• Approx. 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.:
  Individual presentation of the stud dogs

Order of presentation:
The order in which the dogs are presented will follow the order of registration.

„Please submit the following documents by email when registering:
Pedigree, breeding license certificate, X-ray results as well as any other health test results (if available), proof of champion titles, and additional information upon request (e.g. litter statistics, etc.).
Only documents submitted by May 26, 2025 will be considered.“

• The following titles will be awarded for your dogs:
  Junior CAC VDH/Club E.L.S.A., CAC VDH/Club E.L.S.A., Veteran CAC VDH/Club E.L.S.A., BOB & BOS
• Additionally, at the Club Show, the following special titles will be awarded:
  Club Junior Winner (male & female), Club Winner (best male), Club Winner (best female), Club Veteran Winner (male & female), Best Head (male & female), Best Movement (male & female), Best Ridge
• There will be lovely little gifts for participants
• We’ll welcome you with a complimentary drink (sparkling wine, non-alcoholic sparkling wine, or a non-alcoholic cocktail)

Important: Unfortunately, due to existing regulations based on the list of hereditary defects, dogs with dermoid sinus (DS) – even if surgically removed – are not allowed to participate in the show!

The show management reserves the right to make changes to the program.
Breed judge assignments may also be changed or supplemented.

After May 26th, 2025 (2nd entry deadline), no further entries will be accepted!
 

Only dogs listed in the catalogue on the day of the Club Show are eligible to participate in the competitions. Each competition requires a separate registration. Registration is done via the same online form used for the show entry. The participation fee is €5.00 per competition. (Payment reference: Dog’s name / Competition(s) 2025) By submitting an entry, the exhibitor agrees to comply with the VDH exhibition regulations. Every participating dog must have a valid rabies vaccination (please bring the vaccination certificate!)

A lovely buffet will be prepared for us at Hotel and Restaurant Loemühle (Loemühlenweg 221 in 45770 Marl), starting at 7:00 p.m. on the evening of the Club Show! (when booking a room ask for Club E.L.S.A. e.V. special prize)

To help the hotel team plan accordingly, please register using the separate registration form and indicate the number of people attending.
The buffet will include plenty of delicious options for vegetarians as well. If you prefer a vegetarian meal, please make sure to note this when registering so the kitchen can prepare accordingly.

Cost per camper van: €10.00

The parking spots do not have electricity or water hookups and are therefore suitable only for self-sufficient camper vans.

Camper vans must be registered via the online registration form.
Payment will be made on site.
