Jahre zuvor war die Internationale Rassehunde-Ausstellung in Kassel die letzte Ausstellung im Jahr und alle haben sich danach in die Weihnachtszeit verabschiedet. Diesmal war die Internationale Rassehunde-Ausstellung in Kassel der Auftakt des Jahres 2024. Mit 93 Meldungen war diese Ausstellung gut besucht und wir konnten den ehrenwerten Richter Massimiliano Mannucci aus Italien für das Richten gewinnen. Herr Mannucci hat sich die Zeit für jeden einzelnen Hund genommen und mit viel Geduld gerichtet. Als Besonderheit hat Herr Mannucci einen kleinen Artikel zur Ausstellung verfasst. Sein Fazit: Die RR Zucht entwickelt sich zu einer guten Qualität. Sehr interessant mal durchzulesen.

Wie immer ein großes Dankeschön an alle die diese Ausstellung möglich gemacht haben, dem Ringleiter und seine HelferInnen aber auch das Orga-Team im Hintergrund.

I was very proud to be invited to the E.l.s.a. Rhodesian Ridgeback specialty in Kassel this January.
The trip was nice and comfortable and dinners really nice.
Fantastically organized, all in time and my nice assistant Kerstin Förtig super, she understood quickly my
style and we had no interruptions, so I could work quickly and pleasantly.
93 rr, some absent, I found the quality of females better than males and very interesting, the youngest
better that more adults, that means their quality is improving and breeders too.
I strongly appreciated dark eyes, pigmentation, strong bones, nice chests, nice ridges and nice movement,
even if the ground was a bit slippery and dogs couldn’t fully express their power in rear movement.
What I disliked was that few were too square in body construction, some with over angulated croup,
Some short upper arm and in general, too much skin underjaws.
My choice between bob and bos hasn’t been so easy, the male was nicely sound but I’d have preferred
more narrow profile in the skull, so I choose the female with more balanced profiles in her construction,
movement of both fantastic.
Overall, I found an excellent quality with few faults that breeders can manage in short time.
I want to thanks Mel, Ralf and his team that organized all so well, with plenty of prices for all, in a nice
place, super congratulations and nice wishes for all, hoping to meet again soon.
